At Tupare Gardens there is a house.The house is where Russell Mathews and his Family lived.Russell Mathews and James Chapman Taylor built the house and it took them a total of 12 years to build.James Chapman Taylor was the designer and Russell Mathews built the house.Russell Mathews lived there with Mary Mathews[his wife] and their children Jill,John,Elizabeth. Now there are tours in the house.thanks for reading this article.

camp story

On camp at Tupare Gardens my painful experience was when I slipped on the rocks in the river and hurt my tailbone. I was excited about doing river safety in the Waiwhakaiho river because i love swimming. I was nervous/scared on the fist night i thought the tent was going to crash down on me . I persisted when i slipped on the rocks and i on going when my activitie group did river science.
